Cheap and reliable intercity and urban buses connect the main towns. There is no rail network, so buses are the budget option between cities.
Metered taxis are everywhere; in cities, ride-hailing apps like Bolt often work out cheaper. Agree longer fares in advance.
Prefer not to drive? Organised day tours and boat trips will get you to the Blue Lagoon, wine villages and ancient sites, hassle-free.
Fun for short hops around resort towns like Ayia Napa and Paphos, and easy to rent by the day. Not ideal for long cross-island journeys.
Parking is mostly free or cheap outside the big city centres. In Limassol and Nicosia, use paid car parks and mind the resident-only zones.
